Game Day

We went up to my parents house to watch the Michigan vs. Utah game. Even though Michigan lost, we still had a great time!

Between feeding the guys, my Mom, Lindsay and I were keeping ourselves busy by playing on our laptops.

My First Photo Shoot

This is my first official photo shoot, and I think it turned out really well. I've been wanting to get more into photography and it's something I'm really excited about. If anyone is interested in having your pictures done, please let me know. I would love the opportunity.

New Layouts

I have had so much fun figuring out the process of digital scrapbooking. Here are a couple layouts I have done. These were both made with kits from Summertime Designs. You should check out her blog here. She has tons of freebies!

It's finally done!

Well, I finally got my office organized!!! There is still some organizing to do with my filing cabinet, but other than that It's done. I can't tell you how long I have complained about it being out of control, and doing nothing about it. It was actually one of my New Year's resolutions. Well, with a home study for our adoption on the horizon, that pushed me to get it done. It's amazing, I can actually see the floor, and the desk doesn't have piles of papers all over it! I can even sit in the rocking chair because it's not buried under coats! I don't have a before picture, because it was really embarrassing, but look at it now! Now I can move on to some other things on my project list.

I just have to give a shout out to my wonderful husband. He's always so helpful when it comes to my projects. I'm sure it's not his favorite thing, to come home and help me clean and organize things, listen to me complain about things always being messy (when in all reality, it's not really as bad as I always think it is), and rambling off endless lists of things I want done. Thanks for everything Honey, I love you!

Digital Photography

Well, with lots of trial & error, I think I'm getting the hang of all this digital photography stuff. This is very basic, but I have to start somewhere. Hopefully I'll get better as time goes by.

Today when I got my mail, I received a painting that my niece Emma had made for me. I was so excited about it, and am very thankful for it. It is proudly displayed on my fridge, so I can think of her every time I see it. Thanks Emma! I love you!

Digital Scrapbooking

This is the first layout I have managed to actually do, and it took me FoReVeR to do it. I couldn't even add text to it like I wanted to. I have attempted a few for the last month or so and I have NO IDEA how digital scrapbooking works! So, if anyone out there knows what they're doing PLEASE HELP! I would love any advice or input.

Our Adoption Blog

Lee and I are proceeding with the adoption process! We are still working on our application and will be submitting it in the next few weeks.
