The best nephews ever!

This is our nephews AJ and Michael. This past week while I have been at work, they have helped Lee pack up the rest of our house and get it ready for us to rent out. With Lee's knee still not back to 100% these two have been such a great help! They have worked so hard helping Lee lift heavy furniture out of our house and loaded down the stairs at Grandpa's. We couldn't have gotten everything done without them and appreciate their help so much. We love you boys! Thanks for everything!

The life of a Dog

My Dad showed me this cartoon and it was perfect! This is exactly what Syd does all day. I love it! It's to bad we can't trade places sometimes :)

We rented our house out...Again!

Since the first renter fell through, we were lucky enough to find another renter. We are getting the rest of our things out of the house so they can move in this weekend. We miss our house, but we feel it is best for us with our current situation of Lee not being employed to rent it out instead of trying to sell it. This young couple who is renting are interested in buying it down the road so it is a blessing. This was our first home, and we have made some great friends in our 5 years of living in Spanish Fork. We hope to maintain the friendships we have made.

Lee's Knee Scope

This past Thursday Lee had to have his knee scoped. He had a torn meniscus which needed to be repaired. We showed up at the surgical center at around 3:45 for his scheduled surgery at 4:15. They took him back, got him into his surgical cap and gown and also hooked him up to the IV. We sat and waited for them to take him back. We got the news that the Dr. was stuck at the hospital and would be another hour. Well, it turned out to be much longer than that. It was 4 hours! It would be fine if Lee wasn't hooked up to the IV and we could leave and they could call us when the Dr. got there, but no... We were stuck there. What made it worse was the fact that Lee had been fasting since the night before. The Dr. FINALLY arrived at 7:00 and took him back. Everything went really well with the scope. Lee is still pretty sore and has been staying at my parents house to avoid the stairs at Grandpa's. Hopefully he'll feel well enough to come home in the next day or so.

Getting Settled

We are all moved out of our house and into Grandpa's. We still have a few things to organize and get put away. I also have some more things I want to hang on the walls but for the most part we are settled. Syd loves Grandpa's big back yard and both dogs are adjusting well.

The Terrible Two's

I think Kota is going through his terrible two's. He has been getting into so much trouble lately.

And last but not least, he almost fell through this storm drain! He ran through the fence and by the time I caught him his legs were dangling through the holes. I'm just glad he didn't fall through the back! I'm sure it wasn't as bad as I remember. I don't think he was small enough to actually fall through, but it scared me to death. I don't think I could handle losing him too. I'm still dealing with the loss of Maggie. I'm very glad he's OK.

Unemployed....Again!

Last Friday we got the dreadful news that Lee would no longer be working at Great Western. The good news is the fact that he has already applied for another job. We are hopeful that he will get an interview in the next couple days and be back to work soon. We got the news as we were starting the long process of moving, so between the two we have had a tiring couple days! Let's just hope we get some good news about the job this week and that we can also sell our house soon!
