Goblin Valley & Arches National Park

This past weekend, Lee and I headed down South with my parents. We went to Goblin Valley for a day then on to Arches National Park and Dead Horse Point. We had such a great time hiking around and taking in all the beauty. I love living in such a diverse State. It was a much needed get away.

Help! Get me outta here!

Here is my Dad pretending to fall.
And here is his knee after he actually did. He didn't fall down that hill though, that would have been much worse.

Don't let it fall!

I wonder what He's thinking about?

It's Finally Done!

The Front

The Back

I did this quilt class with my Mom and sister Shelly. Every month we got 4 blocks assigned to us and we had that month to finish them so we could get the next set the following month. This quilt had both sewing and applique. I have never done applique before and it took a learning curve to get it down. I literally put blood, sweat and tears into this quilt along with some mild cursing :) I am finally done with it and I think it turned out pretty good. I feel so accomplished!
