On January 9th, we brought our sweet Lily home. My initial plan was to wait to get a puppy until we were in our own home, but obviously that didn't happen :) For the first couple weeks after Syd died, I couldn't think of getting a puppy. Nothing would ever replace our Syd. After awhile though, I started to feel bad for Kota who spent his days all alone. One night I was browsing KSL and I found Lily. I was apprehensive, but we made plans to drive up to Layton to meet her. Once we got there and saw her cute little face and those adorable puppy eyes, I couldn't say no. I had to bring her home.
She has been so fun to have in our family. Kota has been so good with her and they play well together. She is fiesty at times, and we are hoping the biting is just because she is teething. Her teeth are sharp! She makes us laugh everyday, which is something we needed. We still miss Syd everyday and that will not change, but having Lily has helped us through the grieving process. We love her so much!
