Bear Lake 2010

We went to Bear Lake over the 24th and boy did we have fun! Throughout the trip, Adam Kept taking pictures of everyone butts. What a weirdo! Anyway, he kept saying "this one is going on the blog". We had to threaten him in order to make sure that wouldn't happen, so he had us all wear his new hat for a picture instead. So here all are wearing the hat, except Lee who had to leave early for school.

My parents rented a boat and a Water Weenie for a few hours and it was so much fun! We bounced all over the place and fell off every time. I think we are all sore from trying to stay on.

The condo had this rock wall set up one night, and they were giving away a Mountain Dew if you got to the top in 20 Seconds. Michael took on that challenge and did it! It took him a few try's but he had fun doing it.

We hung out at the beach each day and just lounged in the sun, swam around and played in the sand. It was nice and relaxing!

The last night we were there we roasted Marshmallows. We didn't have any graham crackers, just cholcolate and marshmallows. It turned out to be very messy, but still good!

I love going to Bear Lake and I can't wait to go again. We are hoping to have a family reunion there in 2012 so hopefully my Sister Alison and her family in Ohio and Lindsay in California can make it! Let's start the planning now!

Steel Days

To Start the day off, Lee, my Dad, Adam, Shelly & Michael all participated in the annual Steel Days 5K. I am so proud of all of them! Here they are before the race.

I figure that since pigs really do fly, anything is possible, so my goal is to participate in next year's 5K. Lee and I are both trying to get into better shape so I think that is a great goal to keep me motivated.

After the race we went and watched the parade. I think the last time I saw a parade was back in the good old days when I was marching with the band in the parade. (that's right people, I was a band geek, but I'm proud of it!)

After the parade we went over to the car show. We saw some cool cars. These were my favorites, especially the golf cart at the end.

Fourth of July 2010

Every year these jets fly over on their way to the Stadium of Fire. I love sitting outside and waiting to hear the rumble in the sky and watch them fly by.

While waiting for the Jets to fly by, I noticed this sunset. Isn't it beautiful?

These Pictures didn't work out like I wanted but they still look kind of cool. It was fun to hang out with my Family and celebrate the freedom that we are so lucky to have.
