I Love Saving Money!

I got some great deals at Smith's today. Here is what I got.

10 packs (4 pack) of toilet paper
10 Pasta Sides
10 Burritos
3 Bottles of Sunny D
4 packs of assorted candy

So how much did this cost?
The grand total was $35.59!
When you break it down, there are 37 items which makes each item just over $1.00 a piece.

I love it!

Cancer free is the way to be!

Yesterday I called the vet to see if they got the results back from that melanoma spot they had removed from Syd's neck. The receptionist told me that she was going to have to Dr. call me back. I was so worried while waiting for that phone call. We are coming up on a year since Maggie died of cancer and I wasn't ready to go through all of that again. She finally called as I was on my way home, and told me that it was benign and that we had nothing to worry about. When I hung up the phone, tears came to my eyes and I said a silent prayer full of thanks that it wasn't cancer. I couldn't be more happy right now knowing that our Bubba is OK and that even though he is getting old, he is healthy.

Our first annual jeeper egg hunt

Yesterday we went out on our first annual jeeper egg hunt. It was so much fun! Adam & Shelly hid the eggs, then we went out in teams of 2 to find them. After we had all our eggs we were dealt some cards for a hand of poker and the team with the best hand won. Lee and I won the coveted jeeper egg basket full of yummy candy! We had such a great time and I can't wait to do it again next year.
